Paul came to glass blowing accidentally. While at Pitzer College he was required to take a class in a medium unfamiliar to him. He chose glassblowing and was hooked forever. Paul's work includes drinking glasses to fine architectural pieces. He is inspired by the Northern European traditions of contemporary glass.
Pau's glass starts with the basic ingredients of sand and silica, but in his hands they become dazzling pieces of art. The depth and breadth of glass seems to be infinite. Paul is like an alchemist turning the seemingly basic common materials of sand and silica into works of art.
