Polymer and Jewelry

JILL KOLLMANN, a polymer clay and wire jewelry artist, creates one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art.  Polymer clay’s properties supply limitless options for color, dimensional shape and texture.  Many of her pieces evoke a feeling of old-fashioned femininity influenced by her grandmother’s post-Victorian traditions, while other works are more contemporary.  Jill is particularly inspired by the challenges of “fusing” wire and raw polymer clay into single pieces of art.  Her work has been featured in juried exhibitions and published in jewelry periodicals.
